Moonraker

Sir Hugo Drax, one of Englands most popular and celebrated figures, is about to present the ultimate defense system to the British government.  The Moonraker.

The Moonraker is a rocket defense system, but Drax is secretly an ex-Nazi who is seeking vengence on Great Britain and Moonraker is actually scheduled to destroy London.

It's up to 007, along with policewoman Gala Brand, to stop Drax.

This is an excellent novel.  Not as action-oriented as most of the others, but reading the chapter "Dinner at Blades" is worth the whole book.  Also, Bond DOES NOT sleep with Brand.
