James Bond Sean Connery; Dominique Derval (Domino) Claudine Auger; Emilio Largo Adolfo Celi; Fiona Volpe Luciana Paluzzi; Felix Leiter Rik Van Nutter; Count Lippe Guy Doleman; Patricia Fearing Mollie Peters (incorrectly credited as Molly Peters); Paula Caplan Martine Beswick; M Bernard Lee; Q Desmond Llewelyn; Miss Moneypenny Lois Maxwell; Foreign Secretary Roland Culver; Pinder Earl Cameron; Angelo Palazzi/Major Francois Derval Paul Stassino; Vargas Philip Locke; Professor Ladislav Kutze George Pravda; Janni Michael Brennan; Group Captain Leonard Sachs; Air Vice Marshall Sir John Edward Underdown; Kenniston Reginald Beckwith; Hydrofoil Captain Harold Sandersson; Ernst Stavro Blofeld Anthony Dawson with the voice of Joseph Wiseman (both uncredited)

Connery is starting to play Bond a lot more naturally. The beginnings of the "action hero" in Bond's character are coming out, rather than the spy aspect. This is another fine adventure and marks, in my opinion, the last real film with SPECTRE in it (Yeah, I know they were in the next two, but it wasn't the same). A great Saturday afternoon Bond flick!

Did You Know..?

Thunderball was and still is a controversial film. Jack Whittingham and Kevin McClory collaborated with Ian Fleming on the novel. Fleming, however, did not acknowledge this and a lawsuit ensued. To make a long story short, McClory won the film rights and Fleming, the print rights. That is why 1983's Never Say Never Again and the proposed upcoming Warhead 2000 are around... McClory is involved in the films! Notice the credits above and in the film and see who produced it.   Whittingham died in 1972 on the Isle of Malta (Thanks to Jonathan Whittingham for the updated information involving his father).

The Disco Volante (Largo's yacht) was not a model... it really seperated!

Sean Connery makes his first appearance in the gun-barrel shoot that opens the movie.

Thunderball was remade 18 years later as Never Say Never Again.

The End Of Thunderball...

But James Bond Will Return in
