HALL RENTAL
RULE


WEDDING The fire department offers a wide range of catering options and hall rentals to suit almost everyones needs. A fully furnished banquet hall and lounge is available for rental; everything from weddings to showers, graduations and annivereries, birthday parties, meetings, and the likes. The banquet hall measures approximatly 72X40 and seats up to 150 persons maximum when parties are considering dancing. Most rentals prefer to limit the capacity to 120 for comfort. There is ample parking available on site.

The Firehouse is a "NO SMOKING" facility and there is a small smoking section outside the main entrance.

Prices vary depending on use and type rental. The basic price for rental of the hall is $250 for 4 Hours. The fire department does offer catering, and different prices are incorporated depending on the menu. The hall rental fee is waived in the per head price as is a clean up deposit. Prices range from around $13 for a buffet type serving, to appproximately $25 for a sit down diner with all the appertanences. A lounge is also available depending on the type of usage.
KITCHEN
All Prices are subject to change and reservations are confirmed only with a deposit and a signed contract. A contract is neccessary and $50 deposit (when rented for private use) is required for clean up, refundable if clean up is performed in a timely manor as specified and deemed satifactory. A fire watch fee of $25 dollars is required and that person will be available unless other arrangements are made. The fire watch on duty, will inspect the hall and/or kitchen for damages. If no damage is incurred and the premises are left in satifactory condition, then the deposit will be refunded.

IMPORTANT
TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • The terms of the rental contract are, 1/3 on signing, 1/3 due 30 (thirty) days before the event, and balance due 1 to 3 days prior to the event.

  • The contract can be cancelled only if 30 (thirty) or more days notice has been given in writing prior to the rental date to recieve a full refund.

  • The Pochuck Valley Fire Departemnt further agrees that the hall rental fee is included in the price of the affair when catered by the department, and is for Four (4) Hours only (5 with a cocktail hour) and overtime will be charged at the rate of One Hundred Dollars($100.00) PER HOUR.

  • The Pochuck Valley Fire Department furthe agrees that the rentee and guests use its parking lot at their own risk. Pochuck Valley Fire Department assumes "no responsibilities whatsoever".

  • The Pochuck Valley Fire Department further states that the "RENTEE" assumes all responsibilities for damages and will be billed accordingly.
