saying that Free Home Page services like Geocities and Tripod are Annoying! Why? Well,
first of all they're slow. Second, you have no control over your own home page. And third
because of those ANNOYING popup windows! Why do they do this? Well to annoy you of course!
It's not like you actually read their advertisements. But if you are not on Geocities or
Tripod, then you can do what many others do and still put up popup windows ads. However, there is a good free home page service you may have heard of called XOOM. I just set up an account and got a free web page with a short URL and full directory making access and NO popup windows or annoying advertisements. XOOM, you should be proud of your great accomplishments! |
