This
image was taken by Paul Dlugos using a CCD camera at the prime focus of
a C-8. The area of the moon is covered on plates 4 & 5 of Rukl's Atlas
of the Moon. The gash is the Vallis Alpes which is in the lunar Alps and
the large crater to the right is Aristoteles.
This 20 minute exposure of M-8 was taken at
the 1998 Stellafane convention by Glenn Burke. The photo was taken at the
prime focus of a 10" Meade LX50 on Kodacolor Gold 1000.

30 minute shot of the Orion region was taken in Windham N.Y., by Glenn
Burke through a 50mm lens at f/2. The exposure was 30 minutes on Ektachrome
400. Background light illuminated the trees during the exposure unbeknownst
to the photographer!

1995 at Wawayanda State Park.

400.

It was taken prime focus through a 3inch f/6.6 refractor.

reducer corrector reducing the f/ratio to about f/6. The film used was
