I bought this '86 Sport Wagon in March, 1999 from the original owner.
It's a 258cid six backed by the uncommon 5-speed Manual Trans.
It's extremely well optioned, including the gauge package, power windows and locks,
tilt, air and cruise, rear defogger and luggage rack (the rack was removed by the prior
owner and is safely stored away).
It runs very well and breezed thru New Jersey State inspection (everything but a DNA test).
The wheels seen in these pics are a bit of a mystery, as the owner claims it came with them,
yet they are Jeep-logo wheels and caps!! He had ordered the largest optional tires available,
and this is what he got when he picked the car up!
One theory is that the factory neglected to install the bigger tires, and the dealer,
pressed for time, simply swapped tires (and the wheels they were on!) from a
Jeep vehicle on the lot before the buyer arrived....but who knows?!?!
