StarLab Portable Planetarium is available for a one week loan to any MC Media Center member school with at least one trained and certified StarLab User on staff.  Circulation will only be allowed to schools with a certified SL User.

Please note-the StarLab components fit in a small car but there are 2 large boxes and 1 large duffle bag containing the StarLab.  The cylinders are stored in large “ice cream” containers.  Make special arrangements to pick up the StarLab if your courier cannot lift heavy items

·        StarLab may be ordered with up to five program cylinders at a time.

Please only order cylinders you have definite plans to use.
Cylinders are expensive and bulky, we do not have duplicates of any cylinders.

·        Ordering is by telephone only.  To schedule delivery call 973.884.0980.

·        The teacher ordering StarLab does not have to be certified – but there must be at least one
StarLab Certified User on staff in the building.  Identify the certified person when ordering.

Ancient Chinese Legends Over 30 constellations as interpreted by the Ancient Chinese.

 

Native American Mythology  Figures such as Long Sash, the Great Bear, First Man and more.

 

African Mythology  Constellation figures from many African cultures; Dogon, Bushman, Masai & Egyptians. Appearance of certain star groups marked the planting season.
