Let me tell you a little about myself. My name is Blendia, and I was born in Pelham, Mitchell County, Georgia. I now live in Belvidere, Warren County, NJ, with my husband Donald Nawrocki. I have five sons and nine grandchildren. Six girls and three boys. I now have a Great grandson. Four of my sons are married and live in PA, NJ, VA and NC.
Two of my sons gave me a start at a Reef Tank. One gave me a bare tank and another son's wife gave me the live rock and a few corals and fish. I have been working at keeping it stable. Don made a light box for the top and a cover for the botton. It is very pretty. If you would like to see a picture of my tank click here Reef Tank I have added more live rock and replaced some fish.
Don and I like to fish, we bought a cottage in upper New York state. We have had a great summer fishing season. The fishing is great, we had the cottage filled each weekend. The grandchildren love to fish from the dock.
Now to My Genealogy : I am doing family genealogy. My Georgia Families are a problem, the counties that my ancestors lived did not seem to keep much in the way of records. Or maybe my ancestors did not have enough money to generate records. I have not been able to find when and from where my families came to Georgia.
They lived in Laurens, Thomas and Mitchell Counties, Georgia. Here are some Laurens County Records that you may want to see. If you find a record that you want a copy of you can order from the Laurens County Regional Library, 801 Bellevue Avenue, Dublin, GA 31021. There is two volumes of records, Book 2, Laurens County Georgia Legal Records Superior Court 1833-1857, is still available. Book 1 is out of print. These books are by Allen Thomas.
My ROLIN and STRICKLAND families are buried at Harmony Church Cemetery, Cotton, Mitchell, GA. I have transcribed some of the minutes of the Harmony Church if you would like to view the Harmony Church Minutes Harmony Church minutes. The main families that I am researching are ROLIN, ROLAND (various spellings) Tilman ROLIN Family , DAVIS, STRICKLAND, WINGATE and RAWLINS.

Don was born here in Warren County, NJ. His grandparents migrated from Austria and Poland. Don's parents were born in Passaic County, NJ.
My sons Wright Family has roots here in Warren County and New Castle County Delaware. I do not know were in New Jersey they were born? They were married here in Warren Co. 24 May 1828. They moved to Delaware after the Civil War. Click here to see the Wright Family

I found a death record for Sarah"Sallie" WINGATE, died 22 May1920 . I also found the death notice for her husband Bud Rosier WINGATE, Articles were found in the Post Search Light newspaper Bainbridge,Decatur, GA. 1920 Census Decatur Co, GA, Rosier B. WINGATE 72, Sarah 75. Rosier died 28 Mar 1920. Both are buried at Hartsville Cemetery,Colquit, GA. Sarah's parents were William Moore BORDERS b, 1814 GA d.1867 and Martha Alexander b.1816 GA d.186?
