It's
been awhile since I've written. We had an unfortunate incident with
the camera and we lost many great shots of me. You just can't recapture
alot of the moments. Mom and I started agility training and I finally
found a sport I can get into to. Being that I'm still young, I haven't
quite figured out where my backend is, so some of the equipment is
a challenge. We also keep all the jumps and equipment low until we
are sure my hips are okay, but it is a lot of fun. I highly recommend
it for any fun-loving dog out there.
After completing my first course, mom decided
we should retake Level II Obedience just as a refresher. I think
she made this decision after I bolted during one of my runs. Hey,
I was just taking an opportunity to visit with some of my buddies.
We started last week and boy is it a breeze the second time through.
The other owners are pretty impressed with my prowess. Oh, and I
almost forgot, my first boyfriend, Hucksley the berner, is in the class
before mine! What excitement when we met again. He's just as
handsome and still adores me. Our moms are going to get us together
over the summer because noone else likes to play with Hucksley. I
guess he's too big and knocks them around. No problem for me!
DOING THE AGILITY THING!
I turned one in May and my parents had a huge party. Actually I heard
the party was for one of the kids and just happened to fall on my birthday
but I don't believe that for a minute. The only down side was that
one of the guests didn't like dogs and I had to spend alot of the party
in my crate. Why would you invite someone to my party who is afraid
of dogs? I just don't understand humans. It actually
wasn't so bad though. At one point several of my guests came and
sat outside my crate and fed me treats. After the certain guest left,
mom let me out to play with the rest of the kids. The next
day we went to the park and I got to play in the stream. Mom said
it was to make up for me being stuck in the crate so long and for not complaining
about it.
