Hello, my name is Nailah and I am a leonberger.
I was born in Enfield England on May 15, 1998 and my real name is Manorguard
Norma Batty (after a famous English TV actress). My parents are Sund
Stamm's Design of Golden Art at Manorguard (Dart) and Manorguard Dressed
To Kill (Tara). I arrived in the US on June 18th with my new daddy.
The trip was pretty exciting but I handled it in typical 'leoesque' fashion.
I was nine weeks old when I came to live with my new family in NJ.
My family decided to call me Nailah which
means 'attainer' or 'champion' and I sure try to live up to my name.
I'm a pretty smart puppy, or so everyone keeps
telling me. I've learned all the important puppy things like how to dig,
how to ignore my mom when she's calling me and how to make a really wet
sloppy mess with my water bowl. Probably my favorite trick though is following
mom around the yard when she's digging and show her how easily I can remove
all the new items from the ground. It's a big hit. Here is a picture
of me trying to teach one of my new little people.
I'm growing and have already graduated from Puppy Kindergarten. I've entered two dog shows which I really don't understand. I run around and let people look at me and then they give me ribbons. I guess it's because I'm so cute. Mom says I haven't really won anything yet, but I still think I'm pretty special. Hope you'll keep checking back to follow me as I get bigger.
