2005 Season

An Exciting 2005 Season is Planned

  • Since the fruit deliveries were so popular with the members, we will continue to provide weekly deliveries of fruit starting in mid-July.
  • Country Sampler shares will again be offered to those members interested in receiving cheese, free-range eggs & honey.
  • 3-Seasons of Garlic! will be offered this year. Spring time starts the garlic year with deliveries of green garlic. Early in the summer is time for garlic curls, just right for adding to your favorite dishes. Late summer and into the autumn is the time for the traditional garlic bulbs to be delivered. Over 30 different varieties of garlic were planted with CSF member participation at the farm in October 2004 and these varieties will be harvested in July for CSA deliveries in 2005.
  • Delicious Heirloom Tomatoes are delivered in the summer with one week devoted to “totally tomatoes”. 2005 Events will include Annual Heirloom Tomato Tastings at the Hoboken Historical Museum in August and Ramsey Day in September.
  • “Herb-of-the-week” , ornamental edibles & so much more….
  • Weekly newsletters with recipes!
