About the Farm

Susan & Richard Sisti purchased the land in 1984 and developed it into a small farm. Over the years it has been developing along with the CSA movement. Over the past few years, four greenhouses have been built for season extension and spring transplant sales. They also keep Farmer Rich dry when it is cold & wet outside! Three of the greenhouses were built with CSF member support during the off-season. Four main fields have also been established over the last four years.  

Our first CSA started with a small group of nine people in 1996 in the lower east side of Manhattan. Since that time our Community Support Farm groups have grown with delivery sites in:

Vernon Valley/Great Gorge New Jersey

Hoboken & Jersey City

Farm Pick-up also in Wantage New Jersey

We look forward to a bountiful 2005 season.
