Heirloom Tomato Plant Sales

 

The 2005 Heirloom Tomato Plants Sales were a huge success.

 

Plan to attend our Spring sales in 2006

May 20th - Ramsey, NJ

May 21st - New City, NY

May 27th & 28th - Lafayette, NJ


Past 2005 Events:

 

May 28th & 29th: Lafayette, NJ

Our 3rd Annual Memorial Day Sale in the Village Hall of Olde Lafayette Village (corner of Route 94 & Route 15). The sale will be held on Saturday & Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend (May 28th & 29th) from 10 am to 4 pm on both days. Over 50 varieties of heirloom tomatoes will be offered including some common varieties, such as Pink & Yellow Brandywine, Rutgers, Black Krim to some very unusual varieties such as Pineapple, Black, Red Peach, Schimigg's Striped Hollow, White Potato Leaf, Box Car Willie, Mortgage Lifter and many more. The transplants will be offered in 3" and 4 1/2" pots. In addition to the transplants, there will be a taste of “spring garlic” at the event, with bunches of spring garlic greens grown at Catalpa Ridge Farm also available for sale. You will be able to taste pestos & dips made from the early spring garlic and recipes will be available.read press release & get directions


May 21st: New City, NY

A Fundraiser sponsored by the Lions Club of New City, NY

This is our 1st year at this location. The sale will be held in the Rockland County Office Building Parking Lot at 11 New Hempstead Road, New City, NY. In addition, the Lions Club will be collecting old prescription eyeglasses for their Recycle for Sight project. read press release & get directions


May 14th: Ramsey, NJ

First sale of the year will be held on May 14th in Ramsey, NJ

at the Erie Plaza Railroad Station off of Main Street in Ramsey

A Fundraiser sponsored by the Woman's Club of Ramsey

Our 2nd Annual Sale featuring over 40 varieties of Heirloom Tomato Transplants will be available. We will also have herbs, peppers, eggplant, nasturiums and more. read press release & get directions
