Lunar FAQ v0.4
Ok since I have been helping many people out who are
stuck in Lunar: SSSC it was suggested to me to make this
FAQ, so I did. I will be constantly updating this
(hopefully!) to make sure I can get almost every question
answered that needs to be on here. If anyone has another
question thats not on here then email me at warzone@shinra.org
Thats right my email has changed because I was finally
able to get rid of AOL, the worst service in the world.
And now for the FAQ.....

1. How can you play a game that is only
2D?
2. How do you find the ring in the white
dragon cave?
3. How do you kill the Blob Monster on
the Boat?
4. What is the soap used for?
5. How do you kill the sewer dragon in
Merribia?
6. Is there any way to use items in the
cave of trial?
7. What happens when you touch the water
on the "Dragonmaster's" island?
8. Is there any trick for the Crystal
Tower?
9. Is there anyway to save Luna from
Ghaleon in Burg?
10. How do I catch a fluffy bug?
11. The red dragon cave is hard.

1. How can you play a game
that is only 2D? (I get this one a lot)
-The game itself is
incredible. Not to mention the fact that I love anime. If
you play this game though, the storyline is so good that
you completely forget about the 2D graphics. So everyone
should play it!.
2. How do you find the
ring in the white dragon cave?
-This is an easy one. You
simply have to lure the monkey looking dudes over by the
ice bricks surrounding the chests to have them break the
ice. It may take a couple of tries but it'll happen, and
if you accidentaly get into a fight with a monkey just
run away so they dont die.
3. How do you kill the
Blob Monster on the Boat?
-Look in the back of the
instruction booklet it tells you there. If you still need
help then email me because I don't feel like
typing it all up.
4. What is the soap used
for?
-There are these bath house
type things (1 for guys, 1 for girls) and you need one
bar of soap to use them. There are 2 animations for each.
The boat is the only place to get soap with 2 exceptions.
1) You get one when you
join the thieves guild
2) There is one in a red
locked chest in the caves of trial up to Vane. If you
want this one you have to go back in there after you
become a thief.
5. How do you kill the
sewer dragon in Merribia?
-I had some trouble here
too, but there is a solution. Keep leaving and returning
to the sewers until you are all a level 15 and make sure
you have star lights (at least 2) and the best armor and
weapons you could afford. Then use vigor on Alex and that
song for Luna that ups a persons stats on Alex and make
sure Alex does all sword dances and Luna keeps everyone
alive. Use starlights where needed.
6. Is there any way to
use items in the cave of trial?
-No. The guy says you can't
and you really can't. And a quick word of advice. Don't
have that guy heal you until you are entering the room
with the boss.
7. What happens when
you touch the water on the "Dragonmaster's"
island?
-It's simple enough, you
loose HPs so don't touch it!
8. Is there any trick
for the Crystal Tower?
If you use the dragonfly
wings once you are in it, you pass the barrier and can
use your weapons. They just dont do a lot of damage.

9. Is there anyway to
save Luna from Ghaleon in Burg?
-There is a way you will
find out. Just not in Burg. But don't fret. You get
Jessica back very soon.
10. How do I catch a
fluffy bug?
-Just keep chasing it
around. You'll eventually trap one into a corner.
11. The red dragon
cave is hard.
-Well thats not really a
qestion but it does need to be adressed. Yes it is very
hard, and I was only a level 26 at the end. Big mistake.
Make sure you are closer to 30 than I was toward the end
and try and stay away from using fire. (Duh!)
12. Is there any way
to leave the red dragon cave?
-Not that I have found,
once your in, you can't leave until you meet the red
dragon.
13. How do I get
through the Tamur Pass?
-I don't recommend reading
the signs, they are wrong. If you want to you can because
I found some good items that way. But go southeast and
you will eventually bump into Xenobia.
14. How do I get
through that one room in Myght's Tower?
-The most FAQ there is!
Just go into the doors in this order: Planet, Star, Sun,
Moon, or you could just remember Up, Down, Left, Right.
(Ah, Good ol' Sonic the Hedgehog!)
15. How do I get
through the Lost woods?
-Walk around a little bit
and eventually it will start to get dark. You will all
sleep and will be escorted out when you awake.
16. What happens to
you when you open one of those "empty" chests
in the Black Dragon Cave?
-You loose some MP.
17. Where can I buy
items on the frontier?
-You can't. I hope you were
equipped because you can't go back, yet.
18. I can't beat
Ghaleon in the Grindery.
-Good you're not supposed
to.
19. How can I get
through that room in Althena's Tower that looks like a
star?
-Throw the switches in this
order: Blue, Black, Red, White.
20. Who is harder,
really? Is it Xenobia or Ghaleon?
-I found Xenobia much
harder.
21. Is there any easy
way to beat Ghaleon?
-Nope, he is just really
long. You better be close to a level 50 also.
22. How do I get up
the stairs to Luna? She always kills me.
-Use the ocarina first.
Then try climbing the steps. It will work. If not then I
guess you need to go to ocarina lessons. hahahaha.
