boxingStudents Total Approach JKD learn a base of Boxing, Wing Chun and Jujitsu taught by David Elwood. Some of the other TAJKD arts involved are: Silat, Thai Boxing, Judo, Kali/Arnis, western Wrestling, Shootfighting and Capoeira. The school is located in Bridgewater, NJ and has regular seminars by noted JKDwingchun instructors. The synthesis of these arts into a functional martial art and self-defense system is done by regular free-style sparring and grappling. JKD drills always involve motion and sensitivity. TAJKD also offers a video ranking system for shootfightingdistance learners. Students learn the "Concept" approach but without separate classes for each art. A student can study the way that arts combine and interact to form a whole and complete system. This way a student can take different styles or disciplines to form their own JKD. TAJKD has an affiliate school in  San Antonio, Texas. This school has an extensive training program for those interested in mixed martial arts or grappling competitions (Team Rampage). For details and class times, contact TAJKD instructor Jason Archer at 210-646-0944.
